Meet Our Staff

Bill Burns is the owner of Ocean Reef Realty and Burns Construction & Property Management. He had been in the construction business for fifteen years before adding property manager to his portfolio. For the past twenty-one years, after obtaining his license as Certified Manager of Community Associations, he successfully manages properties in Cape May and Atlantic County. He is an active member with CAI, Community Associations Institute.

Bill has lived in Upper Township for the past thirty-five years with his wife, Patty.  They have two daughters and two grandchildren. Bill is anxious to begin a new phase in his career and is looking forward to working in the real estate industry.

Ron Grunstra, the Broker of Record at Ocean Reef Realty, is a retired High School Principal who after 32 years in education went on to secure a real estate license, and then a Brokers License. Ron managed a large real estate office in Ocean City, for 5 years, before joining Goldcoast Realty in August of 1998.  Ron has been very active in the Ocean City Board of Realtors, serving as Board President in 1999 and 2005.  He was selected Realtor of the Year in 1997 and 2000.  Ron secured his GRI Designation, the highest designation a realtor can achieve, and Broker status in 1993.

Ron has been a resident of Ocean Reef, with his wife, MIdge since 1984.

They have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren.  Ron is an avid golfer and loves to travel. 

He is looking forward to running the real estate end of the Ocean Reef Office, bringing his expertise and enthusiasm to the site.
